Allen "The Answer" Iverson has signed a one year non garunteed contract with the Philidelphia 76ers last Wednesday December 2nd. Iverson began his career as the #1 pick of the 1996 draft, going to Philidelphia 76ers.
He made a splash in the league immediately going up agaisnt the best of the best. On December 19th,2006 Iverson was traded to the Denver Nuggets where he teamed up with rising star Carmelo Anthony. The 1-2 Duo were great, but not great enough to make it out of the first round of the playoffs. Soon after Iverson was traded Detroit Pistons for Chauncey Billups. After all the drama in Detriot Iverson was released by the Pistons and signed with the Memphis Grizzlies in the summer of 2009. He only played 3 games with them before leaving the team because of a dispute of lack of playing time. Iverson didn't feel like any team wanted him so he decided to call it quits from the NBA and retired after only 14 seasons. A week later his old sqaud 76ers called him up for a 1 year deal and he was excited and emotional to come back to the city where he considers home.

Kobe Bryant is truly a beast in the league his game winning 3 pointer agaisnt the Miami Heat is gaurnteed one of the shots of the year. Down by one with 3.5 sec left in the game the ball was put in Kobe's hands(which is the smartest thing to do). Kobe hits the game winner and the L.A crowd goes wild with excitement!
The race for MVP is tight this year, as the Canadian Steve Nash is back to his MVP form from a couple years ago. Lebron James has competition this year as Kobe and Nash have stepped up there level of play this season.
