Emoticons
Everyone knows what twitter is. A social networking site where people can send and read other users' text messages called tweets. Do to the fact that these messages are confined to 140 characters, telling the world how you feel can sometimes feel impossible.
Introducing emoticons! If you're a user of msn then you probably know simple emoticons such as :) or :D or :(. The great thing about these little characters is that they're a great time and space saver.
Emoticons in twitter
When you're really pressed for time or character space, using emoticons can really express how you're feeling in any language.
Instead of writing: "I'm so tired. Can barely keep my eyes open and I feel dead" try X_X. Used in a lot of cartoons to symbolize someone being knocked out perfectly summarizes someone who's extremely tired.

Instead of writing: "Today has been the worst day ever. Nothing has been going right. I feel so sad" we would normally put a :( to show we're sad, but why not try T_T. This is a more exaggerated emoticon using the T as closed eyes with tears running down the face.

Instead of writing: "I keep making mistakes and forgetting things. I feel like the whole world is against me and I'm failing at everything" why not try a simple OTL. At first it just looks like O.T.L. but actually it's a person kneeling on the ground. The O being the head, the T being the arms and L being legs.
