The Soulution

The time is now for rock & roll to be fully revived and resuscitated. In 1995, Lenny Kravitz stated that "Rock & Roll is Dead". In 2005, The Soulution plan to prove that Lenny was wrong.

A unique mixture of rock, pop, blues and funk, are just a few of the key ingredients that make The Soulution ever so "tasty". Their repertoire incorporates elements of classic rock with a contemporary twist, producing an original sound certain to turn heads.

Shelby Nelson

Shelby Nelson released his debut EP "Back To The Beginning" in November 2005. The songs echo back to a time when melody was still part of the Rock and Roll formula. After playing several acoustic based shows around Toronto he decided it was time to form a band to bring the energy of the CD to the stage. In April 2006 he brought Mario Munoz (Bass) and Oscar Ballesteros (Drums) on board. They are now rehearsing and look forward to bringing Shelby's original music to venues across the country and abroad. Check out his site at http://www.myspace.com/shelbynelson for upcoming show dates.

Tenth Planet

The music of Tenth Planet is best described as melodic alternative rock. All attempts at pigeon-holing in vain, this Toronto-based band’s individual influences are vastly diverse and combine in ways that must be heard to be fathomed. Free of the shackles of genre though joyously bound to the strictures of classic song-writing, Tenth Planet creates globally accessible music bursting with intensity, passion and unique sound in a tradition set forth by such classification-defying bands as U2, Alice in Chains and Radiohead. Setting Tenth Planet apart from even these powerhouse acts is their fully consistent delivery of sweetly violent and technically thrilling guitar rock fused with fierce melodies and universal stories of aching ferocity. http://www.tenthplanet.ca/

Motion Picture

REILY

Reily started out as many bands do, with a few friends getting together to write music. Becoming a band and hitting the local, nay, the national, stage, never crossed these friends' minds until the CD was all ready to go. However, once the buzz started happening around the CD, the band quickly realized this was something to pursue a little more seriously – now, they have been catalogued “the hardest working band in Toronto” Only 3 months after the band played their first gig, their CD was picked up by all 30 of CBC's music libraries across Canada. Reily's CD, 'listen to the rain', can now be heard anywhere in the country by simply requesting it on any music show, anywhere across the nation. The CD is also heard on CIUT 89.5 FM, york radio, say radio and more. The band has been busy at work promoting the new CD around town, and due to the huge success in the Greater Toronto Area, the band is now working on out of town gigs as well as in town gigs. The band was recently featured on Rogers Television on the 6 o'clock news for an interview, clips from the CD release party at the horseshoe tavern (which they played alongside the veronicas from australia). For the summer the band plans to record a small EP to follow up the huge release of their full-lenght. There is also a late summer/fall tour in the works. Reily is a band driven by two female vocalists, playing two keyboards. It is backed by two male vocalists, playing guitar and bass, and an extremely experienced drummer. visit http://www.reily.ca or http://www.myspace.com/reilymusic

KiD GiB

What separates KID GIB from the pack is our honest sincerity and self determination. We are emotional without being emo, we get fired up without being screamo, we're melodic without being pop, and we're hard without being punk. Thus, one could best describe KID GIB as a "rock and or roll" band with many influences. Self-managed from day one, KID GIB has utilized their DIY attitude, and constant touring, to gain a sincere and loyal fan base. Months of touring in the US have been capped by their "Spring Bling" Tour this year, in which the boys covered 22 states over the course of two months. With a work ethic that never quits, KID GIB has already begun to book the next round of touring! Expect to hear big things and tour dates coming to a town near you! KID GIB formed in the summer of 2001, and shortly after, they recorded and produced two separate and uniquely different 7 song EPs. By the fall of 2002, they had found themselves in touch with tour manager for Goldfinger, Paul Shull. The band was introduced to Shulls producer, Dan Achen (ex-Junkhouse guitarist), with whom they have recorded two full length albums, "The Harder They Fall" and their newest up coming release "Dance With The Drama," at Catherine North Recordings in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The upcoming release of "Dance With The Drama" is KID GIB's most mature and well produced material to date. With the recent release of "Dance with the Drama's" four song "Sampler", fans have gotten a taste of what is to come from KID GIB. visit http://www.kidgib.com or http://www.myspace.com/kidgibrock
